Native · Local-first · Built on Rust
Developer tools thatstay on your machine.
Two native desktop apps, one idea. NabuCode runs your coding agents in a tiling grid and keeps them alive after you close the window. NabuVoice turns speech into text without your audio ever leaving the machine.

01The products
Two apps. One machine.
Each one solves a different half of the same problem: keeping the work — and the data it runs on — where you can see it.
- DESKTOP · PROPRIETARY
NabuCode
Run coding agents in a tiling terminal grid, and supervise or unblock them from your phone.
- Up to eight panes in one grid
- Five agent harnesses
- A daemon owns every session
- DESKTOP · MIT
NabuVoice
Hold a hotkey, speak, and the text lands in whatever app has focus — transcribed on your own hardware.
- Thirteen local speech models
- No accounts, no cloud
- MIT licensed
02What we build
The same three rules, twice.
Software that runs on your computer should behave like it. It should start instantly, keep working when the network does not, and never quietly ship your keystrokes somewhere for safekeeping. That is the whole brief.
- Native
Rust and Tauri, not Electron
Both apps are Tauri 2 shells over Rust. There is no bundled browser to boot, no second copy of Chromium sitting in your dock, and no hundred-megabyte install for a terminal grid.
- Local-first
Your machine is the backend
NabuVoice transcribes on-device with models you download once and verify by checksum. NabuCode keeps sessions in a daemon on your own hardware — the phone is a view onto it, not a place your work is stored.
- Performance
Lightweight is the feature
NabuCode caps live terminal renderers and tears down what you are not looking at, because the whole point of running eight agents is that the workspace stays out of the way.
03In numbers
Claims you can open and check.
Each figure below carries the file it came from in the page source, as a data-claim-source attribute. Nothing here is rounded up.
Terminal panes in a single NabuCode grid, split right or down.
Agent harnesses supported: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode and generic CLI.
Local speech models in NabuVoice, from Parakeet TDT v3 to seven Whisper variants.
